In the 130th birthday party for Prince Ka Suo, the future King of the Snow Nation, comes a unexpected guest, Xin Jue, from the rival Fire Nation, who visits the party to request an one-on-one competition of magical powers.

To protect his beloved brother Ka Suo, Ying Kong Shi accidentally displays his hidden magical power but hurts Xin Jue. The angry Fire King decides to attack the Snow Nation, and secretly seek helps from his former love Lian Ji, Ying Kong Shi's mother. At the same time, human warriors guarding the Snow Nation discover a mysterious fire sources that' burning the Icy Curtain, the Nation's ancient fortification. To make up his mistakes, Shi volunteers to wake up the sacred Sword Godsban.

Fire King defeats the royal family of the Snow Nation and kills Ka Suo's siblings. Ka Suo's Snow Lion rescues him and Ying Kong Shi. The two brothers run to the human world.

Under the order of the Fire King, Princess of the Fire Nation Yan Da hunts down Ka Suo and Ying Kongshi, follows them to human world, and kidnaps Shi while Ka Suo is rescued by a human warrior Li Luo.

A mysterious fire burns Ying Kong Shi and turns him into the adult shape, whom Yan Da can not recognize but decides to slave. On the other hand, in order to meet up with Shi and save the Snow Nation, Ka Suo and Li Luo enter the Tribe of Medicians and search for the piece of the Sacred Crystal. The two bump into Huang Tuo, the heir of this tribe, who is running away for a unwilling political marriage. Ka Suo decides to help Huang Tuo.

Yan Da poisons Yue Zhao, Huang Tao's wealthy fiancee, for cheating the Sacred Crystal. The anxious Yue Sheng, Yue Zhao's sister and whom Huang Tuo is really in love with, tries to find out the suspect while Ka Suo incidentally identifies Shi. Ka Suo thus convinces Yue Zhao to team up with them and find the Crystal together.

The dirty secret of the Chief Medician, Huang Tuo's father, is revealed..

The chief of Dreamers' Land Xing Juo is falling into the state of the endless dreams due to the sadness from the sudden death of his beloved sister Xing Gui. To find out the location of his piece of "Sacred Crystal," Ka Suo, Li Luo, Ying Kong Shi, and Yan Da enter Xing Juo's dreams, where the day of Xing Gui's 100th birthday and murder are repeated endlessly until they discover that it is a trap!

Li Luo and Ying Kong Shi both die in Xin Juo's dreams and wake up to the reality world while Ka Suo and Yan Da are trapped in the dreams. Threatened by the Fire King with his sister's life , Xin Juo sets up a wonderful dream for Ka Suo in which he will never want to wake up. Li Luo decides to enter his dream while discovers herself becomes..

The Fire King forces Xin Juo to perform the forbidden charm and to enchant the queen of the Mermaids for her royalty. Xin Gui, Xin Juo's sister who is kidnapped by the Fire King, is rescued by Ka Suo's granny, and the two run away to the human world. At the same time, Li Luo and Ying Kong Shi are trying to wake up Ka Suo from inside and outside of his dream.

As Xing Gui miraculously survives her 100th birthday, Ka Suo and Li Luo continue their journey to the Tribe of Ten Thousand Spirits, and go search the disappeared Princess Chao Ya with her bodyguard Pian Feng. On the other hand, suffered from poisoning, Ying Kongshi goes to the Bear Tribe with Yan Da and her ruthless brother Shuo Gang.

The new chief of the Bear Tribe asks Yan Da to marry him for his alliance with the Fire Nation. Ying Kongshi discovers the imprisoned ex-chief Liao Jian, who has been royal to the Ice Nation but imprisoned by the new chief. Liao Jian tells Shi a secret that will save Yan Da from the unwilling marriage..

Princess Lan Shang experiences the harsh realities of the mortal world. Yan Da is captured by the Bear Tribe.

Flame traps Ka Suo in a magical location to steal his ice crystal leaves. Huang Tuo is unsure if he can heal Ka Suo's physical and magical injuries.

As Ka Suo loses his magic power and despairs, Ying Kongshi determines to help him and organizes other tribes to fight against the Fire King.

Ka Suo and Li Luo go to visit the mysterious doctor whom Huang Tuo claims can recover his power. On the other hand, Ying Kongshi convinces the Mermaid Prince Lang Shang, who is deeply in love with Ka Suo, to seduce the horny Fire King.

While Ying Kongshi and other tribes plan to overthrow the Fire King, Ka Suo discovers the doctor's true identity and makes a decision to wake up the sacred Sword Godsban.

Ka Suo trades his energy in exchange for the power from the Sword Godsban and rescues Ying Kongshi as well as his team just in time, but the spirits inside Godsban also backfire on him. To finalize the previous promise, the Godsban flies into Ying Kongshi's hands, and Shi defeats the Fire King and saves the Ice Nation.

The Ice King tries to recover Ka Suo's magic power, and he tells the worrisome Queen that only way to save their son is to marry the Mermaid Princess Lang Shang.

Yingkong Shi determines to compete for the throne with his beloved brother Ka Suo.

Controlled by the evil spirits from the Sword Godsban, Ka Suo hurts Li Luo, and realizes the two cannot be together.

To compete for the throne, Ka Suo and Ying Kongshi grow the seeds of Sacred Crystal with their blood at the request of Ice King, who knows that only his real pure-blood son can do. Shi begins to question his parentage.

A mysterious black smoke attacks Ka Suo when he visits Li Luo in the human world. The Ice King punishes Li Luo by expelling her to the Northern Periphery, and also requests Xing Juo to investigate the incident.

Ka Suo and Li Luo make their farewell.

Ying Kongshi' seed of the Sacred Crystal unexpected grow up. The Ice King sets up another game of throne for the two brothers. One the other hand, Li Luo is imprisoned by the fallen god Yao Ke, by whom the secret mission from the Ice King asks her to look for .

Tested by the Mirror of Lie Detection, the chief members from four tribes, including Huang Tuo, Yue Sheng, Chao Ya, Pian Feng, Liao Jian, and Princess Lang Shang, are separated into two teams to support Ka Suo/Ying Kongshi for their game of the throne.

Chao Ya helps Liao Jian to defeat Pian Feng in the first round of the competition, and Pian Feng realizes that it is time to withdraw and end their love triangle.

Princess Lang Shang defeats Chao Ya in the sonic contest with a mermaid's song, but forever loses her singing voice. Before the third round of competition, the Ice King warms Ka Suo not to lose his throne because he has been chosen as the destined king by the time he was born, or the holy priests will kill Ying Kongshi to practice the prophecy.

Ka Suo summons the spirits from Godsban with his blood, but eventually Ying Kongshi wins by a piece of cherry blossom. As Ka Suo tries to protect his brother, a black smoke again appears and wakes up a hidden consciousness inside Shi's mind. Shi kills the holy priests and burns his palace.

Yao Ke tells Li Luo his story of falling in love with a mankind as well as the way to resume the magic power of Ka Suo, who now has only one-month life left.

Li Luo applies the magic chants and exchange her "life" to Save Ka Suo's.

Li Luo resumes Ka Suo's magic power. Ying Kongshi ascends to the throne, but the Fire King threatens to reveal his secret parentage.

Li Luo refuses Ka Suo's proposal because her trade with the chant-spirit transforms her into an ogress each and every sunset. To investigate murders and mysteries in the palace, Xin Juo invites Ka Suo to a sacred island of the Ice Nation that has appeared in Xing Juo's dreams.

The Fire King threatens Ying Kongshi with his secret and asks him to get a mermaid's treasure from a pure-blood princess. Ying Kongshi tries to cheat Lang Shang of her treasure by transforming into Ka Suo, but incidentally causes Lang Shang losing her virginity to the Fire Prince. As Ka Suo announces his engagement with Li Luo, the angry Lang Shan decides to revenge.

Ka Suo and Li Luo are getting married, while the irate Mermaid Princess determines to revenge by killing Ying Kongshi.

Lan Shang sets a task for Ying Kong Shi with drastic consequences for Li Luo

As Li Luo's fate remains uncertain Lan Shang finds herself lost in desperation.

When Shuo Gang reveals Lotus and Shi's betrayals, Ka Suo refuses to believe the worst about his brother, even when he leaves the Ice Tribe.

Ka Suo and Ying Kongshi begin their destined battle, and Shi reveals his reveals his real aspiration, a promise to Ka Suo.

After Shi's death, Xing Gui presets his dreams to Ka Suo, and reveals a hidden big boss, Yuan Ji, who has been controlling lives and destinies of gods and the mankind.

With the helps from Yuan Ji, Lian Ji kills the Ice Queen and runs to the holy mountain in the other universe. Ka Suo enters the dream of his ancestor, and learns about Yuan Ji's true identity and the relations between the holy mountain and his worlds.

To save to worlds and resumes his beloved ones, Ka Suo goes on the journey to the holy mountain in another universe with his royal entourages, and means to defeat Yuan Ji.

The group on Sacred Snow Mountain faces the Imperial Priestess's challenge, which turns out to be much harder than they expected.

The group meets a new, yet familiar sword fairy. Later, they encounter the first of the Four Guardians.

Qin Ren's power, along with the element of surprise, make him difficult to defeat. Yan Da and Shi make a deal.

The group encounters South Guardian Dieche. Chao Ya tries to convince her mother to return with her to the Spirit Cluster.

The group finally defeats Dieche. Yan Da meets Yuan Ji and another guardian who is working for him.

The group heads toward Thunderbolt Altar to find Xing Zhou. Later, they end up in the mortal realm, but the aura is off-putting.

Liao Jian puts himself at great risk for the sake of Chao Ya. Xing Gui helps her companions through a dream.

Ka Suo and Chao Ya plan to lure out the West Guardian in disguise among them even if they can't convince everyone of the trick.

With the helps from Yan Da, Ka Suo and his entourage defeat Yuan Ji and revive their beloved ones.

Ying Kongshi, Li Luo and the Mermaid Princess all return to consciousness but at the same time lose their memories. Shi is adopted by the Fire King and brainwashed into believing that Ka Suo is his nemesis.

Another tribe from Sacred Snow Mountain shows up at Snowblade City. Li Luo becomes increasingly upset by her lack of memories.

Shi hatches a plan to make The Mermaids ally with the Fire Tribe. Ka Suo continues to try to make Li Luo remember him.

Ka Suo and Li Luo worry about their relationship. Shi returns to Snowblade City to get close to Ka Suo.
