The police rule the accident Martin and Lance's fault, but Fisher believes Bobby and Carly were involved. Frank approaches Alf for a job.

Carly can't stop dwelling over the accident she caused. Alf plans a romantic dinner to make up for disappointing Ailsa.

Drowning their sorrows with beer, Martin and Lance decide to get even with Fisher, not realising that he's gotten their jobs back.

Tom confronts Carly's father over his $7,000 payment to relieve Carly's debt. Sally acquires a new friend on the way to school. Celia spills the beans to Roo about Alf and Ailsa's romantic dinner.

Tom's resolve is tested when Sally and Lynn team up to convince him to keep the dog. Tom and Pippa interrogate Carly to try to ascertain how she persuaded her father to pay her debt.

Alf gives Tom an idea to solve his dog problem. Floss reconsiders her decision to abandon tarot readings.

With Eric having swallowed a bait, Tom and Pippa are faced with a tough call.

Fisher and Celia campaign to have Nico sent to a mental health facility, believing him to be a danger to the townsfolk.

Triumphant after catching Bobby red-handed in front of vandalised school property, Fisher can't help but celebrate the prospect of seeing her charged. Tom attempts to use his charm to change Celia's mind about Nico.

Pippa's pregnancy news brings joy and worry for the Fletcher family. Neville introduces Sally to his bagpipe "friend" Mr. Haggis.

With Alf having discovered about Frank and Roo's secret rendezvous, both Frank and Roo spark into damage control. Neville's on the warpath to find the culprit who slashed his bagpipes.

Upon hearing of Fisher's petition against Nico, Lance and Martin decide this could be yet another opportunity to make him pay. Sally is set to go on the run to evade Neville's wrath.

Stealing Carly's makeup to help peak Frank's interest, Bobby is mortified at the family's reaction to the results. The dance goes ahead, with Martin confident that he has escaped reprisal from castigating the town's nutcase.

Returning to the church to discover her bicycle has been moved and covered in balloons, Celia suspects a conspiracy is afoot and is determined to track down the culprits.

Pippa is stunned after Celia reports her to the police for holding the dance at the church without permission, but Neville and Floss may have a plan to save her from punishment.

Returning to boarding school, Roo breaks her pregnancy news to Brett. Overjoyed after her weekend stay with her parents, Lynn returns to the Fletchers where her father wants to have a chat about her future.

Distraught at Brett's wish to abort the baby, Roo returns to the bay with one mission in mind: seduce someone and convince them the baby is theirs.

Roo returns to Summer Bay High, Lynn's dad returns to clarify her situation, whilst Martin and Lance pursue a female tourist.

Lance is beside himself after hearing that he's won $500,000...there is just one slight problem, he can't find his winning ticket. Ailsa's suspicions of Brett deepen after hearing more of his sudden selfless deeds.

Lance's father and mother arrive for a visit, hoping to cash in on his recent lottery win. Frank starts his new job as an undercover spy for Ailsa at Brett's business.

It is Matt's last day in Summer Bay, so the Fletchers throw him a farewell party. Old wounds are reopened when Donald catches Barbara in a lie. Lance becomes increasingly frustrated with his mother staying with him.

Misinterpreting an overheard conversation to mean his father is trying to run his mother out of town, Alan is determined to ruin Donald's life. Celia receives a letter from her father with unexpected news.

Determined to get his father to hit him in front of witnesses, Alan enacts his plan to goad Donald into achieving it.

Alan informs the Department of Education that his principal struck him, forcing Donald to fight to save his job.

Bobby wrestles with her conscience as Donald packs up his office. Carly unleashes Operation Mouse Plague to drive Colleen out and win $1,000.

Brett's planned cocktail party hits a snag when the venue has to cancel at the last minute. Bobby is overjoyed at receiving her cocktail invite, unaware Brett has told Frank to rescind her invitation.

Lance attempts to persuade his mother not to attend the cocktail party. Alf is irate to discover that Ailsa has distributed pamphlets against the development project he is fronting.

Brett turns on the charm at the cocktail party to lure the locals into investing in his tourism development.

Colleen, furious at Martin for causing Lance's new car to get stolen, decides she needs greater control over Lance's financial decisions. Roo takes the opportunity to widen the wedge between Alf and Ailsa.

Bobby discovers who sent her the flowers, prompting her to grudgingly apologise to Brett for dousing him in water.

In order to impress Narelle with the perfect first kiss, Steven conducts a survey at school to discover the best kissing technique. Alf ponders Ailsa's environmental study on his and Brett's proposed tourist development.

News of Steven and Narelle's relationship travels around the school, prompting the high school girls to reconsider their opinion of him. Ailsa receives some bad news.

Alisa and Alf's marriage hurtles towards breaking point, thanks to Brett and Roo.

Roo revels in her father and Ailsa's marriage being on the precipice of dissolution. Colleen decides Lance needs a woman in his life and promptly sets him up on a date.

Alf may have damaged his relationship with Ailsa beyond repair. Meanwhile, on their date, Steven and Narelle are pestered by some local hoons.

Bobby is determined to track Ailsa down and bring her back home. Martin becomes convinced he is no good for Lance, meanwhile Colleen drags Lance along to the Stewarts for tea, hoping her fantasies of a Roo-Lance match will come to fruition.

Bobby sees through Lance's donation to Martin to keep him from leaving, but opting to leave the $100,000 in Bobby's possession could prove to be a nightmare for Lance and Martin.

Enduring the difficult labour, Roo remains fixated on what could have been with Frank and Celia wrestles with disobeying Alf and calling him to ease Roo's mind.

Roo doesn't want to see her baby, meanwhile the father, Brett, dwells on being castigated by his father for producing a girl. Narelle prepares to make her move on Philip.

Brett's father disappointment in him becomes further evident, when Brett's sister Stacey arrives in town to replace him as head of the tourism development project.

Brett hits the bottle to drown his sorrows after being pushed out of his project. Annoyed that Frank only has eyes for Bobby, Roo, as usual, opts to get vindictive.

Irate at being accused of cheating, Bobby needs to be held back from pummeling suspect #1, Roo. Narelle cooks Philip dinner in the hopes of seducing him.

With Roo's coldness towards Bobby suddenly crystalising his belief that Roo shouldn't raise his daughter, Brett sets plans in motion to gain custody, whatever means necessary.

Devastated at having to give up Martha, Roo attempts to come to terms with it, whilst being unable to explain to anyone why she made the decision.

Having newly acquired Ailsa's shop, Celia wastes no time telling the locals of all the "filth" and distractions that will be disappearing from within its doors once the sale officially goes through.

Fisher gives Bobby an oral exam as a replacement for missing her written one - get all twenty questions correct or she fails. Martin and Lance see an opportunity to ingratiate themselves with Stacey when Celia refuses to sell the shop.

After being castigated again by Celia, Narelle joins the coalition of Lance and Martin to frustrate Celia into selling the shop. Alf can't understand why Roo would want to give up her baby.

With his secret out, Brett makes a desperate attempt to escape Summer Bay with his child, before Alf can catch up to him.

A distraught Roo gets an unexpected visit from Bobby. Realising Ailsa had been right about the Macklins all along, Alf ponders how he managed to drive her away. Colleen believes her horoscope is telling her she needs to "save" Donald.

Alf and Ailsa, reunited again, hold a private re-commitment ceremony. Neville runs subterfuge for Colleen to spend further time with Donald.

Brett holds out in a hotel as the manhunt for him and the baby continues. Martin is taken aback when Lance's concern for the baby causes two women to swoon over him and ignore Martin.

Roo drops a bombshell. Mortified, after overhearing suggestion that Lance's mum is having dinner with Donald, Martin and Lance concoct a plan to ensure he doesn't make a favourable impression.

Discovering the true purpose of his dinner with Floss and Neville, Donald is vehement he won't spend time with Colleen. Carly, Steven, Narelle and Phillip opt to camp outside an allegedly haunted house.

Carly and Narelle are spooked by strange noises coming from the haunted house. Colleen and Donald bond over their children.

Carly discovers a familiar face living in the abandoned house and tales of the encounter quickly spread. Fearing a wave of town hysteria, Pippa and Donald meet to discuss a plan of action.

Pippa encourages a depressed Walter to take a trip into town. Sally is disappointed that she can't attend the John Farnham concert due to chicken pox, overhearing the news Alison takes the opportunity to plead her case for the tickets.

The locals are enraptured, hoping to catch a glimpse of John Farnham's visit to the town. Eager to avoid Farnham being swamped, Tom provides false information on Farnham's itinerary to the town gossip.

Carly is distraught, believing she's just run into the man who assaulted her, expecting quick justice to be metered out, she soon discovers the reality and further anguish of a he said, she said case where no corroborating evidence exists.

Brett returns looking to make amends for causing Philip's injury. Steven decides to teach Gary a lesson.

Believing Brett has tried to take his own life, Sandra desperately searches the shoreline for signs he is still alive. Ailsa has second thoughts about selling her shop. Carly and Steven give their plan a test run.

Carly believes she finally has the proof necessary to convince everyone she is telling the truth about Gary.
