Two months after the fatal bomb, Tippi Wan is in jail. Family and friends spread dearly missed Willemyn's ashes. Claire decides to fool her haughty mother. The friends fail to replace the perfect housewife and hostess, and get on everyone's nerves in the process. Martin suffers from an unidentified general weakness, but Cheryl's constant nursing (on doctor's orders) is tested to the end. She finds Martin's last relative, ma's sister Cor, is a gold-digger as he reads his last will on DVD. Anouck seduces Dr. Rossi.

Evert has a foxy new live-in housekeeper, Rumanian Svetlana, who has a day job as boutique clerk. Tom makes Anouck sign up daughter Merel for the popular local hockey club. After Anouck tells the girls that Dr. Rossi came on to her, they all try a female therapist instead, except Cheryl, who almost seduces him, in vain. Martin gets a clear bill of health and resumes his marital duties. Cheryl pushes him to a crazy restyling by Yari, who suggests 'dog whisperer' Roelien for unruly Sinatra. Shocked to find his Romanian maid doing it with son Roderick, Evert throws her outn. When one of his dogs dies, Martin introduces him to dog whisperer Roelien. Anouck is recruited for hockey mom chores and infatuated with humorist and erotic poetry or the sexy author, Joost van Wenten, who 'home-delivers'. Cheryl drags Martin to a marriage counseling session with Dr. Rossi, who finds he doubts their love and gives them romantic bonding homework. Claire deals with her rich ex Ernst's 'provocative' generosity, right into his locker-room shower.

Evert shouldn't have worried how his new affair with the dog whisperer goes down at home: son Roderick even stays with a mate to give them space. Anouck's live-in poet, Joost van Wenten, urges her to break up with her inartistic friends, and has a domestic tyrant-streak which makes Tom take in their daughter for a while. Claire's new doctor, Van Engelen, bluntly offers to correct her childbirth-scars 'tax-free', but ends up marked himself. Martin's inactivity and Cheryl's bossy nagging drive them further apart. A Luxury ladies life seems good, with poet Joost as a playful lover again. Ernst restores Claire's financial fortune, Evert's dog whisperer has turned domestic, they even making their affair public, and Cheryl launches a perfume for designer Yari. Then the press sees through the autobiographical 'fictional' novel the Thai former au-pair publishes form jail 'I, Tipi Wan, in het Gooik', outing the friends' dirty secrets. It sells better then Joost's latest poetry, they can't keep buying all copies to get them out of circulation. Suddenly nothing is seeming so good ...

Evert enjoys sexual exhaustion by Roelien. Martin and Cheryl enjoy meeting loose new neighbors Thijs and Danielle, who soon out themselves as swingers. Anouck throws poet Joost van Wenten out, but he secretly keeps a key and sends her bizarre messages. Claire is instructed to arrange a rich legate for Roelien's aunt society queen Cecile Van Buuren's tween fitness instructor Edwin 'Butch' Bartels, but is indiscreet to Cheryl, who spreads a rumor. The police interrogates Ernst about investment fraud, so Claire believes his expensive presents dirty and dumps him, but her...

The Moreros want a sibling for Remy, but Cheryl insists on the same dad: Tom, the natural way. Not what infertile Martin wanted on his birthday, but he's surprised. Martin's susceptibility to super-fan Joke makes jealous Cheryl pay her a visit, which she may regret. Roelien earns a place amongst the girls by chasing poet Joost, but feels like an outsider with his modest income and attire, so they offer her a make-over before her major dog-show, then forget about it. Roelien announces her pregnancy, but Evert feels he's too old and would sort of betray the late Willemyn and their kids. However they insist Roelien must stay. Claire hoped in vain to take Roelien's place but lacked maternal instinct, and hits the bottle instead. Cheryl was taken hostage by Martin's super-fan Joke, who invites him to kill her off with a baseball bat, but he turns it on Joke. After therapy with Dr. Rossi they decide to renew their vows. Anouk has an offer to go and produce some artwork for a sheik in Dubai - nobody will miss her, least of all Vlinder, ...

Martin's wedding vows renewal is such a big media circus -in fact to promote his new single- that it's not postponed despite the news Tipi Wan has escaped from jail and cashed the fortune she earned with her slanderous novel. The only security is studly body guard David, fellow gay fashion guru Yari's dream man. Claire is not amused when Anouk tricks her to go to AA, devastated as Evert chooses Roelien over her. Dr. Rossi hornily misreads both friends' signals: neither wants sex with him. However, Tipi didn't leave the country.
