Detective Raimy Sullivan makes contact with her deceased father via a ham radio.

Raimy warns her dad about the date of her mother's death. Frank struggles with his life after coming out of being undercover. Raimy copes with her present life being changed due to the past being changed.

Raimy uncovers evidence in the Thomas Goff and shares the information with Frank. Meanwhile, Gordo talks Raimy into going out for a drink where she has an interesting encounter with Daniel.

With the date of Julie's abduction rapidly approaching, Raimy and Frank each work to gather information from a girl whose mother was taken by the Nightingale killer.

When Frank helps Raimy uncover clues from the past to help solve a present day murder case, it brings up two different memories of her first day in the NYPD. Through Frank, Raimy continues to learn more about Stan, which begins to cause friction with Satch. Meanwhile, Frank has trouble controlling his jealousy as he struggles to give Julie her space.

In 2016, Raimy meets a strange character who talks to his future self. In 1996, Frank thinks the Nightingale is taunting him.

Raimy and Satch's detective work begins to pay off when a cold case victim leads them to their biggest break; a room where the Nightingale held his first victim.

The CW canceled Frequency after one season. The network released an epilogue scene giving the fans a tidy finale ending to the series.
