Rafaela Peña returns to her village after spending a few days in Madrid. The owner of EntreOlivos S.A. Has an Andalusian farmhouse with a large expanse of olive trees. Rafaela is the most important businesswoman in Andalusia and one of the most important in the world, so she arouses some media curiosity. Meanwhile, in Cancun (Mexico), its distributing partners have increasingly family and economic problems that ended up impacting on Rafaela. Rafaela celebrates her birthday party and invites several entrepreneurs from the olive sector and her friends, although this celebration has more business objectives than family. During the meal a deadly threat occurs at the party, all being photographed by a journalist attending the event. In this chapter we also present the economic problems of the Mexican partners of Rafaela, the Fuentes family. Mario Fuentesse's brother-in-law refuses to endorse him, which complicates the situation a lot.

Rafaela's birthday happens a mortal threat. Everyone screams, bewildered, forming a general stir, so the panic takes over the place. Vic Bennet, father of Sofia, learns what happened and moves from Mexico to Seville to take care of his daughter. Rogelio Cid, suitor of Sofia, does not want to separate from her. The village policeman, Lucas, is conducting a secret investigation into the incidents.

Rafaela is reunited with Martín, the son of the first wife of its husband. Martin proposes to Rafaela to be partners again in the business, but she is not quite clear. On the other hand, Rafaela and Vic are seen in La Herradura and they lunch and Sofia with some tension. Among all these things, someone mysterious and unknown pours an acid in the pickles of the olives.

When extracting a sample of olive oil, it is revealed that the tank in which they were stored has been contaminated with an acidic substance. Being clearly intentional, they decide to take precautions. Rafaela realizes that she has more enemies than she thought. On the other hand, the journalist Antonio Camino tries to inform himself with bribes about everything Rafaela does, and even come to publish intimate photos of Rafaela in a digital newspaper.

The police officer, Lucas, makes progress in researching what happened at Rafaela's party, getting an important clue that can guide him to the person in charge. For Rafaela the most important thing is to discover who is attacking her and her interests. The film producer interested in buying SpanishOil begins to be overwhelmed by its turbulent and truculent past. Mario Fuentes and his wife are unaware of all this.

Sofia wants to know more about the Peña family, and she does not think to stop until she knows everything, no matter how many secrets she wants to remain hidden. Monica visits her daughter in the workshop and shows her affection, support and help. Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the sabotage of the oil tanks.
