Lifeguards gear up for the first biggie of the season. Cameron proves he's got what it takes to work one of the most dangerous beaches in Africa. Sue's wish for a Wedge Beach day comes true and the rips of Umhlanga claim their first victim.

The search for a man lost at sea gets more urgent with every passing hour. Cameron tends to an incapacitated youth with a mystery ailment. And one of the seasonal lifeguards is not performing to standard.

A shark sighting causes panic on the beaches. The lifeguards are desperate to resolve the shark problem - because tomorrow is Christmas. Without any rescue equipment, Cameron initiates a daring rescue.

With a jet ski dead in the water, Clint struggles to find a replacement before it's too late. An early New Year's beach celebration gets out of hand and seasonal lifeguard Tammy is called in for emergency backup.

A powerful riptide, overflowing crowds and a dozen bathers are swept out to sea. The Lifeguards put their lives at risk in a desperate effort to save a drowning night swimmer.

Spring Tide at a secluded beach and a family gets trapped. Quentin races against time and tide to bring them to safety. Cameron rescues two boys who have ventured into the danger zone.
