For all of Wild West that is successful, Drunk History still has a ways to go if it wants to be more than a longer, glorified version of the web series.

As much as a web series can have laurels, Comedy Central's version rests on them. And even though the formula behind the show is relatively foolproof, in the Biggie-sized version, the surprises are fewer and further between.

Drunk History isn't on the same level as Horrible Histories (Comedy Central is not the BBC, after all), but it does provide a fine half-hour of entertainment, both for viewers and, quite clearly, the performers.
