Struggling mum Sam is trying to turn her life around, she takes a job as a cleaner in the City of London where she stumbles upon lucrative and illegal stock market information which throws her life into disarray.

Sam's money-making plan starts to bear fruit, but it's not long before complications arise. The listening device is discovered cutting off the source of information leading Sam to enlist the help of fellow cleaner Mina for a risky scam.

Sam and Jess are interrogated by the firm's compliance team and Jess admits to Sam that she's made a shocking discovery about Blake. Alice learns more about her parents' separation and her mother's gambling addiction.

Sam promises Swanny that she can fill Blake's shoes, meaning she has to acquire secret information about an upcoming property deal and rope in the help of Jess and Mina for their biggest scam yet - but things don't go to plan.

Swanny entrusts Sam to make a large investment for him and she goes to great lengths to pull off the risky task. As Sam revels in her new persona Dave notices the change in her and Glynn discovers Sam is still in financial strife.

As Sam risks losing everything, she faces the disastrous consequences of her actions. Running out of options, Sam must confront the network of insider traders.
