Part 1 of 5. Teens compete. Included: appetizers are made with a fuzzy ingredient; a challenging protein is paired with a processed cheese in the entrée round; and a number of problems are encountered as the two finalists combine chips and candies.

Part 2 of 5. Teens compete in three rounds, beginning when they transform expensive crustaceans in appetizers. Also: nerves and mishaps plague the contestants, while making lamb entrées.

Part 3 of 5. The teen tournament continues with the competitors trying to transform basket ingredients that include vegan chicken, butternut squash, okra, a box of assorted cookies, walnuts and plums.

Part 4 of 5. Teens compete. Included: the appetizer round features a spicy protein and strong pepper; the judges resist the urge to help, when thick veal chops and beautiful heirloom tomatoes are uncovered in the entrée baskets.

Basket ingredients chosen by viewers include a curious canned product, weird candy, a slimy surprise, an unusual condiment and a dairy delicacy.

Conclusion. The teen tournament comes to an end, with the final four competing for $25,000. Included: the appetizer basket contains pasta, jarred seafood, candy and a veggie; the entrée round starts off with the breaking down of a giant fish.

Teen chefs seek redemption. Included: the temptation to make crab cakes strikes in the appetizer round; a nostalgic candy causes unhappiness when making entrées; and Italian cookies and peanut butter toast show up in the dessert baskets.

Four funny women, known for playing moms on sitcoms, test their kitchen skills. Their challenges include turning mushrooms and frozen TV dinners into appetizers; not overcooking one-minute steak; and getting creative with tiramisu and strawberry sauce.

To the surprise of the chefs, bizarre foods are found in all of the baskets. Appetizer ingredients include a strange bird part and a stinky young fruit; entrées are made with hot candies and offal; and desserts prove tricky when using something purple and something fermented.

Oktoberfest is celebrated with basket ingredients that include pretzels, sauerkraut, schnitzel, beer, spaetzle and chocolate sausage.

Chefs, who work in soup kitchens, compete in three rounds with a Thanksgiving theme.

Chicken hearts are a mandatory appetizer ingredient; entrées featuring sea bass and an expensive spice are prepared; and the chefs try to make delectable desserts, using brittle and zucchini.

Macaroni and cheese is the common theme in every round; mac and cheese dishes that include Swiss chard; a time-crunch in the dessert round leaves one of the chefs dashing to get all the components on the plate.

Part 1 of 4. The first of three preliminary battles features returning champs faced with mind-blowing baskets. Among the ingredients the chefs have to work with are whipped topping, offal, stinky cookies and a food with teeth.

Part 2 of 4. Robert Irvine joins judges Maneet Chauhan and Geoffrey Zakarian. Included: nerves are an issue for some competitors, when preparing appetizers with a strange duck and green dessert. Also: an infamous "Chopped" ingredient makes a return.

Part 3 of 4. The "Chopped: Impossible" tournament continues with chefs facing ingredients that include a swamp creature, insects, a sweet spring treat, an aged egg, whimsical sushi, leftover fruit and a frozen favorite.

Conclusion. The "Chopped: Impossible" tournament comes to a close. Appetizer ingredients include a giant clam and a fast-food classic; and entrees are made with something nostalgic and a sandwich of something strange.
