 Season 2

Big Brother 2 was the second season of the American reality television series Big Brother (U.S.). It began on July 5, 2001, and aired on CBS for 82 days, concluding on September 20, 2001, when Will Kirby was crowned the winner with five votes from the evicted HouseGuests. He won $500,000. The format of Big Brother 2 was different than that of the first American season, which had been a direct port from the original Dutch version. In Season 2, Every week the houseguests would compete to become the Head of Household (HOH). The HOH would then nominate two houseguests for eviction. The fellow contestants would vote, and the player with the most votes would be evicted. On Finale night, all former houseguests returned to vote for who they thought should win the grand prize.

 Season 1

Big Brother 1, also known as Big Brother 2000, was the first season of the American reality television series Big Brother. It began on July 5, 2000 and aired on CBS for 88 days, concluding on September 29, 2000 when Eddie McGee was crowned the winner with votes from America. Season 1 of Big Brother is radically different from following American seasons of the series. It was a near-exact port of the hit Netherlands (Holland) series of the same name. Every week, Housemates would nominate two fellow housemates and the two or more housemates with the most nominations were eligible for banishment. American viewers could then call a 1-900 number and cast a vote to evict a HouseGuest. There was no Head of Household, Power of Veto, or Food Competitions, but rather the HouseGuests would have to complete Weekly Tasks (also called Week Long Challenges) to win rewards for the house. There were 6 episodes each week: a one-hour live eviction show, and five 30-minute daily recaps.

Based on the Dutch series, thirteen strangers who are living in a studio-like house that's filled with cameras and microphones, compete in a series of physical and mental stunts, and some challenging trivia at a chance at $500,000 in this reality soap opera-like summer program. Thirteen of those house guests live in 13 different states. America will watch every single move they compete to be the last one standing, after having twelve house guests evicted. These strangers are the contestants who think they have absolutely nothing in common, and a few are in a shock for their lives. The house guests begin to introduce other people at the Big Brother house. It's the first time they will get to know each other and they're not allowed to say not one word with them until they are in the Big Brother house. The thirteen will be living in the same house for the following two months. They may either find their best friend or worst enemy in that group; and in the end, it's one men for themselves. Then, contestants who have performed their stunts were asked to vote for the person who should be kicked out of the house (which happens to be the loser), and the guest with the most votes, is the loser and will be evicted from the Big Brother household. However, if the participant wins his/her stunts, then the player will be named "Head of the Household," for a day. The guest who stays in the house longer than anybody else does wins $500,000.
