Detective Judd Cox starts his first day at a rough police station in the middle of Amsterdam and meets his partner Tonny Montyn.

Cox and Montyn stumble upon a criminal conspiracy and a plot to attack during the coronation of the Dutch princess Beatrix.

Cox is struggling to cope with his big loss, but is forced to get back to work with a new partner and murder case.

When a red light district sex club becomes the scene of a hit involving a Turkish mob family, Cox and Ruiter try to reconstruct what happened.

Now with a full understanding of the situation, Cox is tasked with starting a secret investigation into the missing weapons.

Chaos floods the streets of Amsterdam when it suddenly seems that every teenager has a gun; Coz grows suspicious of his colleagues when his key witness is abducted from his safe house.

Looder heads to the Warmoesstraat office; Wormgoor searches for a buyer for his mustard gas; Cox and Ruiter's investigation leads them to Belgium.

Back in Amsterdam, the mustard gas van is still nowhere to be seen; the city begins to fill with protesters; Cox and Ruiter do everything they can to stop an attack.
