American actor and stunt man born in 1984, Zane Cassidy is best remembered for his only on-screen film role in Robert Altman's masterpiece Short Cuts - Les Américains (1993), where he played the Finnegan's son, a kid who is accidentally hit by a car conducted by a waitress (played by Lily Tomlin) in this multi-layered story based on Raymond Carver's short stories. For his work, Zane received two special awards as part of the film's great ensemble cast (a special Golden Globe and another one from the Venice Film Festival shared with names like Tim Robbins, Julianne Moore, Chris Penn, Jack Lemmon, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Andie MacDowell and others).
