Yûji Nunokawa

Yûji Nunokawa was born on Feb 11, 1947 in Japan. Yûji Nunokawa's big-screen debut came with Urusei Yatsura: Only You directed by Mamoru Oshii in 1983. Yûji Nunokawa is known for Road to Ninja - Naruto the Movie directed by Hayato Date, Junko Takeuchi stars as Naruto Uzumaki and Chie Nakamura as Sakura Haruno. Mr. Nunokawa is the president of Studio Pierrot, a Japanese animation studio that produces animation for both film and television. He founded Studio Pierrot in 1979, and in a short time became a leader in the anime industry. A "pierrot" is a French clown, and Nunokawa used this word for his studio to reflect his love for the circus. The company's logo even features a grinning clown face.
