Will Thompson was born on May 28. He was the second of 4 children He grew up in middle class Oak Park, a suburb on the west side of Chicago. His family and the situations surrounding them would be what dominated his acting career. Thompson knew he wanted to be an actor since the age of 12, major actors including Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx, Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Pryor influenced Thompson. With interest in music and a natural talent of being able to play the piano by ear, Thompson pursued music in L.A. After realizing that it was more to entertaining then just music, he moved back to Chicago and went full throttle with acting. After enrolling in Act One Conservatory, The Green Room and Second City, Thompson attended classes, acting sessions and practiced with multiple acting coaches to perfect his craft.With much practice, Thompson landed several leads in plays, hosted events and has been in a few TV pilots (Matadors) and (Pleading Guilty), a TV movie (There Are No Children Here) and the Film (The Dilemma) and several others. He also has several T.V. commercials and some radio skits on his resume as well. With his up and coming success, Thompson learned early that the sacrifice was more than he anticipated.Through his journey of reaching super star status, the blockbuster potential has also had setbacks as well. With three major back surgeries in a year, the second one being life threatening, he appreciates his life and his talent in more ways than one. Thompson has used these challenges to motivate him to be the best he can be in his potential. Thompson goal is to work alongside major actors such as Denzel Washington and David Ayer just to name a few. Thompson went to college but didn't obtain a degree, but he is also a graphic designer.
