Born in Brooklyn, NY (December 8, 1956), this versatile and talented guitarist has had an eclectic career in the music industry. Joining Frank Zappa's band in 1978, he quickly became immortalized on the "Joe's Garage" album. In 1980 he founded the 80's new wave band Missing Persons with Dale and Terry Bozzio. After six years with that band, he joined Duran Duran, where he helped them update their sound in the 90's and co-wrote the hits "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone." He's also part of the composing/performing/producing team of TV Mania with Nick Rhodes. His solo albums range in sound from hard rock to ambient to ethnic music. An avid bodybuilder, Warren posed nude for the Brazilian magazine "G" in 2000, and in 2001 he joined a reunion of the original Missing Persons.
