Vladimir Simonov is a popular Russian film and stage actor, member of Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow.He was born Vladimir Aleksandrovich Simonov on June 7, 1957, in Russia. From 1976 - 1980 he studied acting at the class of Alla Kazanskaya at Shchukin Theatrical School of Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow. Since 1980 Vladimir Simonov has been member of the troupe at Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow. In 2007 Vladimir Simonov premiered as Peredonov co-starring opposite Olga Tumaykina in "Melky bes" stage adaptation of the eponymous novel by Fedor Sologub.Vladimir Simonov was designated People's Actor of Russia (2004), and received numerous awards for his works on stage and in films.
