Valentino Macchi was born on Aug 04, 1937 in Italy. He got his start at the theatre in Bologna, and graduated in 1962 from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome; the oldest film school in Western Europe. Starting in the mid-1960s he played numerous small roles as a contract actor of the C.S.C. In 1978 he became a talent scout and agent, then worked in advertising. Fifteen years later he returned to acting again, with a dozen roles over the next fifteen years; collaborating with new Italian directors in TV and film.
