Tun Tun was born on Jul 11, 1923 in British India. Tun Tun's big-screen debut came with Aar-Paar directed by Guru Dutt in 1954. Tun Tun is known for Namak Halaal directed by Prakash Mehra, Waheeda Rehman stars as Savitridevi and Shashi Kapoor as Raja. The upcoming new movie Tun Tun plays is Karate which will be released on Dec 09, 1983.
Tun Tun was a prolific singer and comedienne appearing in over 100 Bollywood films. She began her career as a singer but was soon overshadowed by others. A heavy woman, she turned to comedy, using her weight to her advantage and continued her career as a comedienne. She died at the age of 76.
