Toren Atkinson was born on Jun 28, 1970 in Canada. Toren Atkinson's big-screen debut came with Return to Innsmouth directed by Aaron Vanek in 1999.

Toren Atkinson was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but raised in Calgary, Alberta and graduated from Chilliwack Sr High in Chilliwack, British Columbia. His father played drums in the Canadian Forces. In 1992 he started the H.P. Lovecraft homage rock band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets as the lead singer. He moved to Vancouver to pursue his career in voiceover acting and illustration, and with Warren Banks wrote the role-playing game based on Spaceship Zero. As a Lovecraft afficionado he became involved in several independent Lovecraft film adaptations including an animated version of the Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath.
