Actor/writer/producer Todd Allen has appeared in close to 70 film and television productions in his career. He has worked with Kevin Costner on three films and with Robert Duvall on Le prédicateur (1997), and again on Broken Trail (2006), in which Allen received excellent reviews as Territorial Marshal Bill Miller.Via his independent media and production company, Virtuosity, he has a number of exemplary film and television projects planned, including some 24 feature projects, 14 television projects, two documentaries and a number of alternative television projects. Current development an epic long form television project Sarita, a UFC centered television series project, The Tournament, and a sought after Spaghetti Western reboot, Challenge At Crown Valley, to be shot on location in Almeria, Spain. Other projects include the gritty, noir-styled western, The Deserters, the romantic thrill ride, Suicide Grip, and Six Mile Creek, a story of a Veteran who must overcome the demons of PTSD to save the people he loves, which will be Directed by Allen.Recent acting roles include an an appearance in the Disney + film, Safety, directed by Reginald Hudlin and the just completed, highly anticipated short film, "Loose Ends". Previously, Allen appeared as Slave Trainer "Dollar Bill" in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained (2012). He also starred in the independent feature, Frontera (2010), playing a tough, driven Texas Ranger who brings down a drug cartel. Allen has an extensive list of films and television appearances on his resume with appearances in Chase (2010), a recurring role on Friday Night Lights (2006), and in guest roles on CSI, NCIS, Chicago Hope and many other programs. Other career highlights include multiple films with writer/director Lawrence Kasdan, and an early career role of famed fighter ace Chuck Yeager.Allen maintains residences in both Los Angeles and his hometown, Austin,Texas where he lives with his wife and youngest child.
