Thomas E. Reed is the founder of the international model and artist group Miami Models (South Beach, FL), founded in 1995. Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Polo Black Label were a few of his clients. Reed's management company booked the talent for Serena Williams' Nike tennis commercial, booked and represented the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders, and NFL Cornerback Michael Rumph.Until the age of two, Thom lived in Cherry Hills, Colorado, at the home of William Roosevelt, the grandson of President Roosevelt. His grandmother was the Governess of the household. In 1963, Thom's family moved back to New England. His father, Dr. Howard Reed, was an attorney and town selectman in Canaan, Connecticut. His mother, Nancy, a radio personality and later the station director for WKZE 98.1 FM and the owner of a local diner, The Village on the Green, in Sheffield, MA.Thom attended Monument Mountain High in Great Barrington, MA. He was a member of the wrestling team and photography club. After graduation, he attended college at A-I Prince Technical School in Hartford, CT, and NWCC in Winsted, CT, for computer programming and business.His career began in Hartford, CT, where he worked as stage manager and photographer for North East Concerts and runway fashion photographer for "Sage-Allen & Co."By age 26, he was the stage manager and photographer at Club Getaway (Club Med), where he met Danielle Gallo, Art Director for Omni-Penthouse Magazine. In 1986, Gallo invited Reed to Omni-Penthouse in New York. Gallo befriended Reed and encouraged him to shoot slide film while informing him of the industry's inner workings. With renewed vigor, he moved to South Florida and found opportunities in Miami Beach, shooting fashion models and composite cards for renowned agencies, Michelle Pommier Models, Wilhelmina, The Greene Agency, World of Kids, and Click. He later worked as an associate producer for Five Star Productions, underwritten by John Paul Mitchell Systems. The syndicated television series was "Today's Health," with Tennis Pro Chris Evert. In 1995, Reed founded Miami Models; his management firm had a talent pool of over 700. Miami Models was renowned for its Children's Board, European Print, and Fashion Runway. Most notable Runway Shows: Ocean Drive, the Pangaea Club, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.Reed has been the subject of over a dozen documentaries and appeared in feature films. Men's-Health, Marie Claire, Radio Times, Screen Rant, the Boston Globe, and the NY Times. The history-making incident was initially known as the Reed Family incident, featured multiple times on Fox Primetime, and later re-branded as Thom Reed's Berkshires UFO by Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix on 2020.As of late, Reed is known for making a form of UFO History. His family's September 1, 1969, Off-World incident became the first to be officially inducted and formally archived into the United States as historically true by historians and the office of the Governor. The State induction graced the front page of the Boston Globe and was covered live by ABC News NY. His, Thom Reed's - UFO Monument Park, located on Covered Bridge Ln Sheffield, MA 01230, is a popular filming location for shows: Ancient Aliens, Unsolved Mysteries, Netflix, Travel Channel, Yes Theory, and New England Legends.An important fact to know while competing with the Russians in the space race is "to the moon." Scientists and engineers from the area frequently discussed the space race that encompassed the goodwill message within the confines of the four walls of the Village on the Green Diner, owned by Thom's mother, Nancy. The diner was also known as the jukebox diner. Because we were present during this time, our family became accustomed to keeping the conversations private, and later the goodwill message was placed on the moon alongside the flag by Buzz Aldrin on July 20, 1969. Thom Reed's family was mentioned at the United Nations general assembly on October 2, 1992, 33/436 by Robert Bletchman, regarding the environmental effects that occurred during the UFO Incident witnessed by the Reed Family.
