She's the recipient of multiple awards, including 1 Emmy, 3 Emmy nominations and 7 campaign awards through the AIGA, regional Addys and Print Annual.Segueing her visual abilities into the live action realm for television and film, Scorzafava's short film script, Gillery's Little Secret, won the Panavision New Filmmaker Award - a highly competitive program for young writers/directors that bestows a film camera grant package and accessories worth $50,000 to the winner in order to produce their film.After numerous international screenings and many accolades, the completed 25 minute short film for Gillery's Little Secret, won the Jury Award for Best Women's Short Film at the 2006 North Carolina Film Festival; the Audience Award for Best Short Film on Logo: The Click List, as well as, being licensed by MTV/LOGO Network for US distribution. Its theme surrounding a woman centered, character driven storyline is based on a universal male conflict, with a female perspective twist; a protagonist who's not a victim, which resonated with audiences.Scorzafava's latest short film project, In Twilight's Shadow, is touring the international film festival circuit. It's an action packed 35mm short film sci-fi/thriller that tells the adventure of a female immortal, suspended between light and dark, summoned to rise and protect the mortal she loves. It involves multiple fight and stunt sequences, as well as, edited and graphical visual effects.Scorzafava spends her days creating and producing network branding identities within the entertainment industry. As the Senior Designer for the award winning broadcast and branding specialist, Video Design Group, her creativity in design, visual effects and animation has helped guide VDG towards a domestic prominence, receiving exceptional regard for successfully launching on-air packages for The Academy Awards, the prime-time Emmy's, Hallmark Channel and The American Music Awards to name just a few.Scorzafava holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Arts and Graphic Design from the esteemed School of Design at East Carolina University.
