Stephen Hardin was born in Calcutta, India and immediately abandoned and left to die in the streets. Thankfully, Stephen was rescued and adopted 5 and half month later, by a single parent, Janie Hardin. Miss Hardin worked as a bookkeeper at a nonprofit.Janie had also adopted another girl from India, Shakila. Stephen and his family lived in Portales, NM.Stephen began entertaining people from an early age.When Stephen was in Jr. High, his sister, Shakila passed away unexpectedly.Stephen attended Lubbock Christian Univeristy and earned a B.A. in visual communications. Stephen later earned his Master's in Mass communications from Eastern New Mexico University.Stephen married Cassie Paden June 1st 2013.Stephen was involved in acting and choir throughout high school and college. For a time, he was also an anchor and reporter for a PBS station.He later moved to Albuquerque to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.Stephen's mom, Janie passed away in 2017.Stephen worked hard to better his craft by taking classes and workshops with various professionals in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area. Stephen has trained with Lora Cunningham of the Albuquerque Actors' Studio, Chad Brummett of The Scene Shop and Ron Weisberg of The Open Actor. He has taken workshops with Matt Page, Rebekah Wiggins, Vic Browder, Marie McMaster & Jo Edna Boldin. He has also been able to attend various training seminars/panels which included Kerry Barden, Jo Edna Boldin, Angelique Midthunder, Elizabeth Gabel, Lorrie Latham, Kathryn Brink and Kiira Arai.Stephen worked his way through various positions in the industry and eventually joined SAG-AFTRA.Stephen also works as an instructor of Public speaking and interpersonal comm at a few colleges as well as group comm at another university. He also works at a nonprofit.Stephen and Cassie welcomed their first child into the world in April 2020.
