Stepan Bubnov was born on Dec 27, 1917 in Russia. Stepan Bubnov's big-screen debut came with Poem of the Sea directed by Yuliya Solntseva in 1958, strarring Gusach (as S. Bubnov). Stepan Bubnov is known for The Adventures of Mowgli directed by Roman Davydov, Lyusena Ovchinnikova stars as Mother Raksha and Aleksandr Nazarov as Kaa. The upcoming new movie Stepan Bubnov plays is The Adventures of Mowgli which will be released on Jul 23, 1981.

Stepan Bubnov was an Honored Artist of the RSFSR (7.12.1967). In 1937 he graduated from the studio of the People's Heroic Theater. In 1937-1938 Bubnov was an actor of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky Regional Theater. In 1938-1940 he was an actor of the District Theater of the Red Army of the Central Asian Military District in Tashkent, 1941 - artist of the Moscow Regional Theater named after A.N. Ostrovsky (4th collective farm and state farm theater). In 1941-1944 Stepan Bubnov took part in the Great Patriotic War. In 1944-1945 he was an artist of the Ensemble of the NKVD USSR, in 1945-1947 - an artist-restorer. In 1947-1950 Bubnov was an actor at the Moscow Chamber Theater. Since 1950 he has been an actor at the Moscow Drama Theater of Pushkin. Since 1953 he was in the cinema industry. Bubnov was a master of dubbing (his voice was spoken by many French and Italian actors). He passed away on July 12, 1996 in Moscow.
