Lars Staffan Göthe, born 1944 in Luleå, Sweden, is an actor, writer and stage director. He studied at Uppsala University before being admitted to the National Theatre School in Gothenburg 1969-71. Staffan Göthe was active in the alternative the Swedish theatre scene. In 1995 he was engaged by the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. He is considered one of Sweden's foremost and most performed playwrights. Penetrating the Swedish soul and society. Depicting the lives of ordinary people with humor, love and great imagination.
