Spike has studied acting technique with Uta Hagen and Carol Rosenfeld at HB Studios in New York City. He has also studied acting technique with Terry Schreiber and he is a graduate of the T. Schreiber Conservatory in New York City. He grew up in suburban Boston. His father was a local Boston radio personality.
