Sonal Sehgal is an Indian Actress/ Writer/ Producer who started her career with TV shows Saara Akash and Hotel Kingston. She made her debut in cinema with Nagesh Kuknoor's critically acclaimed "Aashayein" and then went on to star in a host of Bollywood films including "Manstostaan" and "Lihaaf" which garnered much acclaim internationally. Sonal co-wrote the screenplay of "Lihaaf" which is based on Ismat Chugtai's famed story of the same name. She has also written the Story, Screenplay and Dialogue for Pradeep Sarkar's anthology "Arranged Marriage". In 2020 Sonal turned producer with her maiden Indo-Latvian Co-production, "Manny", a Sci-Fi film which she has also written and wherein she plays the leading role.
