Simon(e)'s films have premiered at Documenta14, Cannes Directors Fortnight, New Directors/New Films MoMA, Rotterdam and won, among others, the prize for Best Director at the International Cartagena Film Festival Colombia as well as the Emerging Talent Prize in Oberhausen. Simon(e)'s performance works have premiered at Studio R of Maxim Gorki Theater, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Hebbel am Ufer, as well as the 11th Berlin Biennale.
