On December 18, 1994, Shawn Tyrone Prince was born in Mainz/Germany. Since the age of 3 he entertained family and friends. He told his mother at this young age that he wanted to be on Television, so everybody could see him. His mother did not take him serious, because of his age. At age 5 he was enrolled in Kindergarten at the Hainerberg Elementary school in Wiesbaden/Germany. He then auditioned for every school play which he landed a role every time. After the experience on stage he continued telling his parents that he wanted to become an actor. At age 9 he and his family were transferred through the military to Albuquerque, New Mexico. His mom enrolled him in acting school, which he started to attend in 2005. In July of 2005 he attended IMTA in New York City, he had over 20 agencies interested in him. In August he landed a local commercial in Albuquerque and in November he auditioned for Doubting Thomas and landed a small role as Barry Safchik. He landed a lead role as Derrick Johnson for a feature film, Oranges in Los Angeles, in February 2006, which is still in production.
