He started the theater at Mehmet Bayazid High School. He studied theater at Müjdat Gezen Art Center and graduated in 1999.He entered the Istanbul City Theater in 2000. During his acting life, he worked in many theaters as well as Istanbul City Theatres. Among the theaters he worked for, Istanbul State Theater, D.A.T. Production, Yayla Art Center, Yeditepe Actors, Istanbul Royal Theatre. He was involved in the establishment of the Istanbul Royal Theater and played in its first play.Since 2000, he has acted in many motion pictures in the new era Turkish cinema. In addition to national festivals, he took part in successful productions in international festivals such as Cannes, Montreal and BFI London.The movie "CAN", in which he played the leading role, was the first film from Turkey to participate in the international competition section of the Sundance Film Festival and returned with the Special Jury Award. He had a serious traffic accident in 2007. He also acts in TV series and movies. In 2014, he served as a jury member in the contest named Intellectual Property. He is a board member of the Players Syndicate.
