In his youth, you could see Senne Dehandschutter acting on Belgian television. His most famous role was -undoubtedly- as the blond son of Daddy and Mummy in Vaneigens, former end segment of the TV-series Man Bijt Hond. He also acted in Flemish television series such as Flikken, Rupel, Aspe, 16+, David, and Sara and in films such as Blinker and Olivetti 82.Senne graduated in 2007, obtaining an academic master degree and specialization in film directing at RITS, which is part of the Erasmus University College (Brussels). His end project Fertilize -a short film suffused with visual effects- was selected in the official selection of the International Short Film Festival Leuven, the International Film Festival Milan, the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, the Monterrey International Film Festival, the Sapporo International Short Film Festival, the Montréal World Film Festival, Sehsüchte, the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and the Californian Independent Film Festival, among others.Since he graduated, Senne directed and produced several short films and television series such as the documentary series Climbing Spielberg -listed in the official selection of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), Docville and Planete Doc Review. Senne also founded the production company Earth In Motion and talent agency In The Picture. Recently, he produced and directed Arabische Liefde, a documentary that was broad casted in five episodes on the Belgian TV-channel Canvas.At the moment, Senne is creating his first fictional full-length film for a cinematographic audience, with support from the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF).
