Semir Aslanyürek

Semir Aslanyürek was born on Aug 15, 1956 in Turkey. Semir Aslanyürek's big-screen debut came with Sellâle directed by Semir Aslanyürek in 2001, strarring Mösyü Dumas. Semir Aslanyürek is known for Neredesin Firuze directed by Ezel Akay, Haluk Bilginer stars as Hayri and Özcan Deniz as Ferhat. The upcoming new movie Semir Aslanyürek plays is Eve Giden Yol 1914 which will be released on Dec 22, 2006.

His father was an civil engineer. Semir studied at the All Union State institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. He's a Director, actor, script writer, sculptor, painter and great cook. Currently working in Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty, Department of Cinema as professor.He has two sons already in the cinema world, the oldest one is a cinematographer educated in VGIK; the second one is an actor.
