Samuel Haus was born in 1990 in Iasi, Romania. When his parents died, the teachers Ingrid and Stefan Haus, who live in Spånga, Stockholm, adopted him. He also has a sister named Calina. His biological grandmother is still alive and is still living in Romania. As he himself puts it: "My mother is dead. My dad too. But I have a really nice grandmother in Romania who prays for me every single day." Ever since he was saved from misery, he has used his weekly allowance of 10SEK (aprox. 1,30$) to help children in need by supporting an aid organizations. He also helps support a young child, Sunday Adombila, that lives in Ghana. This he does to somehow, if at all possible, repay the goodness shown to him by the people who saved him from an expected poor life at an orphanage in Romania. Samuel attended, until third grade, the German School in Stockholm which he left to focus on his acting career, which since then hasn't had any major changes.
