His films have screened across the country and have won and been nominated for numerous awards including an Emmy nomination at the Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards for his short, Con Boys (2016). Recently, he directed his first SAG short film, Our Barrio (2016), in which he also co-wrote and co-produced with Yvette Angulo.
