Russ Jones was born on Jul 16, 1942 in Canada. Russ Jones's big-screen debut came with Gallery of Horror directed by David L. Hewitt in 1967.

Russ Jones entered films via comic books. He began working with the legendary Wallace Wood and was soon on his own, creating the popular black and white magazines, 'Creepy,' and Eerie.' He then published 'Monster Mania,' (1966) . That year he went under personal contract to Producer Anthony Nelson Keys, and became involved in re-writes for more than twenty features. After spending over a decade in the UK, Russ returned to America where he wrote 28 novels under the name 'Jack Younger.' Also a painter, Russ has done portraits of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and recently presented a drawing to the French actress, Yvonne Monlaur who appeared in 'Brides of Dracula' (1960). Russ writes ebooks and has re-created 'Monster Mania' for the World-Wide-Web.
