Ruslana Lyzhychko was born on the 24 of May 1973 and was raised in L'viv, in the ancient capital of Galychyna. She graduated from L'viv Lisenko Concervatory. She's a song-writer, composer, producer, and arranger and director of her videos. She has recorded 8 CDs and is now the most popular singer in Ukraine. She won the 2004 Eurovision Song contest in Turkey and was the first Ukrainian to win World Music Award as Best Selling Ukrainian Act in Las Vegas.
