Robert Lawrence Brodmerkel was born of February 15th 1977 in Manhattan, New York. He spent most of his life growing up on Long Island. He attended Bayport-Blue Point Public High School, which he graduated from in 1995. After High School he attended Suffolk Community College and majored in Radio, Television and Film under the guidance of Emmy Award Winning Producer Al Bernstein, and Crystal Productions President Howard Stevens. After receiving his degree he went on to work for a local production company producing local commercials and promotional videos. In fall of 1997 Robert teamed up with fellow friend and classmate Ken Bogardt and started producing short films together. They now have their own company called Edgewater Pictures, which focuses on producing independent films and commercials. He is best known as Horror Bob, the former webmaster and film critic of The Horror Review. He sold The Horror Review to Journal Stone Press in August of 2014. He is now a series producer of the Television show and Web series "In Fear Of". Robert lives in Babylon, New York with his wife Kristy and their two daughters.
