In 1956 he joined the troupe of the Central Theater of the Soviet Army. He taught at the Voronezh Theatrical School. He was also known as a reciter. He died on July 14, 1988. He was buried in the 64th section of the Dolgoprudny (Central) cemetery in Moscow.
