Phil Traill was born in New Jersey - but moved to London when he was 6.He graduated from Newcastle University with a First in English and Film Studies - before working as a producer/director for many of Britain's leading TV production companies.After directing 150 sketches for C4's hit comedy show 'Spoons', Phil wrote and directed a series of award-winning short films - 'Hiccup', 'Post', 'Dangle' and 'Flipped'.Phil moved to LA in 2006 and has directed over 100 episodes of prime-time US TV. He is currently (2022) EP / Director on 'Single Drunk Female' (97% on Rotten Tomatoes!).He has also directed 3 movies - 'All About Steve' (Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper), 'Chalet Girl' (Felicity Jones, Bill Nighy) and 'No Sleep Til Christmas (Odette and Dave Annable).He lives in Santa Monica with his wife and three loud kids.
