Phil Price was born on Apr 28, 1974 in Australia. Phil Price's big-screen debut came with Prom Wars: Love Is a Battlefield directed by Phil Price in 2008.

While attending McGill University Phil began directing and producing music videos for local acts. As his work became recognized for its originality, Phil was approached by a slew of artists and labels to direct music videos. Phil founded Philms Inc. in 2001. He graduated to commercials and quickly decided to move into the world of feature filmmaking. Working with writing partner Myles Hainsworth, the two generated the script for Summer, which Phil later helmed in the summer of 2002. Phil directed his second feature, Hatley High, a year later. Phil won the Best Director award for Hatley High at the US Comedy Arts Festival in 2005. The film also picked up the Best Screenplay award. Phil created, the festival, an original television series for the Independent Film Channel. the festival is the first original scripted live action series for IFC and has premiered on the channel on August 19th, 2005. Phil not only created the six episode comedy series, but also served as head writer, director, and co-editor. Due to its critical and ratings success, IFC ordered a second season spin-off titled the business, an eight-episode comedy series starring Kathleen Robertson and premiered on IFC August 4th, 2006. Phil again served as the show's creator, head writer, director, and co-editor. Phil directed his 3rd feature film, Prom Wars, in October 2006. Prom Wars is a teen comedy surrounding a war between rival boys private schools, the winners of which, are granted exclusive rights to the girls as prom dates. Prom Wars stars Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) and Raviv Ullman (Phil of the Future). Prom Wars will hit theaters in time for Prom 2007. Phil is currently preparing the third season of his IFC show, the business, for IFC. Phil again serves as creator, head writer, director, and co-editor. The series will premiere on August 17th, 2007.
