Patricia began her modeling career as a contestant in a Tropical Teen pageant, where she was discovered by Japanese talent scouts who offered to send her to Japan to work at age fifteen. Ford achieved her greatest enduring popularity as a model in numerous Playboy newsstand special editions (she was voted Playboy's Lingerie Supermodel of the Year in 1996). Among the other men's magazines Patricia posed for are Spice, Club, High Society, and Men's World.
