Pankaj Udhas

Pankaj Udhas was born on May 17, 1951 in India. Pankaj Udhas's big-screen debut came with Mera Jiwan directed by Bidoo Shukla in 1976. Pankaj Udhas is known for Malik Ek directed by Deepak Balraj Vij, Akanksha stars as Kashiram's Sister and Rana Jung Bahadur as Janardhan Maali. The upcoming new movie Pankaj Udhas plays is Malik Ek which will be released on Oct 29, 2010.

He is the younger brother of singer Manhar Udhas and has done playback work on many bollywood films since the early 1970's, but his claim to fame was in the film Naam (1986) in which he did playback for 'Chithi Aai Hai' and made him a household name. Pankaj has done many other albums outside of the film industry, doing Ghazal compilations and Live shows around the world. He has even toured with his brother Manhar and many other Ghazal singers.
