Fletcher made his film debut as Tom Rice in the low-budget horror picture "Humongous." He achieved his greatest enduring popularity as the titular mysterious drifter on the long-running cable TV anthology program "The Hitchhiker." Moreover, Page played Alex J. Murphy/RoboCop on the mini-series "RoboCop: Prime Directives."
