Osmar do Amaral Barbosa (São Paulo, August 18, 1947), better known as Osmar Prado, is a Brazilian actor, writer and producer. As one of the most prestigious Brazilian actors, she has won several awards, including two APCA Awards, a Guarani Award, two Brazil Quality Awards, and a Press Trophy. Osmar was married twice. He has three daughters, two from his first marriage with Elizabeth Cosentino Vianna, Janína and Tainá Prado. In 1990, he married Vânia Penteado, with whom he had his third daughter, born in 1994. He participates in the Human Rights Movement.
