Oktar Durukan was born in Istanbul in 1938. He graduated from Haydar Pasha High School. He started acting in 1958 with the movie O Günden Sonra. After taking the lead roles for a while, the character played roles. In the following years, he appeared in newspapers and magazine photo-novels and later in television films and series. Durukan passed away in Istanbul in 2007.
