Originally born in Miami Florida, Noel Braham grew up in a middle class area in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Georgia State University, where he further developed his passion for film and the art of storytelling, majoring in film and video production and speech communication. After graduating, Noel moved to New York City to work with NBC and shortly after decided to leave the company to pursue acting and film-making full-time. His passion to create worlds of comedy, science fiction, and drama led him to his first project, which he starred in, wrote, and directed, "The Side Chick" nominated for seven awards by the LA Web Fest and won four awards after being screened at Warner Brothers Studios-the first time in history a web series was publicly shown on a major studio lot. The Side Chick was also nominated for a Sky Award by the Roma Web Fest (Rome, Italy) and recently won Best Comedy in the Seoul Web Fest in Seoul, Korea. Noel's passion for film and changing the universe through the eye of the lens has only added fire to his burning desire to create diverse and innovative projects. After directing his sophomore project, "Star Wars Exile" (A Star Wars Fan Film) the project was nominated and won (Best Choreography and Best VFX) in the Lucas Films/Disney Star Wars Fan Film Awards after being judged by "Rogue One" Director Gareth Edwards and previewed in London, England, you can find Star Wars Exile on StarWars.com. His third project, The Millennial, which follows an amateur boxer who reflects on his past before entering his first fight. Won a prestigious Telly Award for short form media and will campaign for the Prime time Emmys this summer in the short format category. Noel also serves as the founder and co-director of the Micheaux Film Festival- a multi-cultural film festival that showcases diverse representation both in front of and behind the camera. His team was able to install a successful event which attracted over 200 attendees and was held at Regal Cinemas LA Live: A Barco Innovation Center, one of the most technologically advanced theaters in the country. Additionally, the festival raised and donated a majority of the proceeds to Good Seed CDC a non-profit that provides housing and special care to local homeless youth. Most recently, Noel and his team were nominated for two Daytime Emmy awards for Outstanding Special Class - Directing: Noel Braham and Outstanding Special Class: Short Format Programming for their work on Watchtower. In addition to the Emmy nominations, Watchtower will also appear at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival Short Corner in the South of France.
