Nika Belianina was born on Dec 27, 1980 in USSR [now Russia]. Nika Belianina's big-screen debut came with Cheaper by the Dozen 2 directed by Adam Shankman in 2005.

Nika Belianina has been making fiction and documentary films since 2005. She is an award-winning writer, director and a producer with MA in social psychology. Her work has been screening at Oscar-qualifying, human rights, comedy, children, sci-fi and other film festivals around the world, such as Tribeca, Sheffield, Atlanta, Just for Laughs and much more. As an avid visual storyteller, Nika sometimes serves as a camerawoman on documentaries and has worked on projects around the world. Alumnae of WIDC and a recipient of artist residencies in Mexico, Peru and USA, Belianina is also an accomplished fine art photographer and effortlessly switches creative hats when needed. She has a flare for magical realism and came into directing after years of working as a lighting technician and a props person in film.
