Nicholas David Brandt is a writer/director who lives in Los Angeles and originally hails from Tonawanda, NY. He is a graduate of Tonawanda High School as well as the University of Rochester Film Studies program. He left his home in WNY to move to Los Angeles in search of creative outlets.A middle child, the only boy, and a Pisces - which explains a lot about him -- alongside Amber Benson and Sarah Kuhn, Brandt is a founding member of Heroine Club, a writing group devoted to strong female protagonists.In addition to his film work, Brandt has acted as editor on the Image Comics series The Li'l Depressed Boy from S. Steven Struble and Sina Grace. He regularly contributed the backup feature Little LDB with art by Scott Arnold. Arnold and Brandt also completed work on their own joint venture graphic novel, Joshua Jace: Minimum Wage Henchman.Brandt wrote the book (with Laura Watkins on lyrics) for Comic-Con the Musical, which was chosen to participate in the 2016 ASCAP Foundation DreamWorks Musical Workshop with Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Wicked) and enjoyed a sold-out Hollywood Fringe Festival run. They've teamed up again for their next musical Glass Ceilings.He also finds it hilarious that on IMDB, he's "known for Bad Behavior."
