Nevena Jelcheva Mandadzieva was born on July 6, 1941 in Burgas, Bulgaria. She is a Bulgarian actress, born in the family of actress Penka Mandadzieva and director and actor Professor Zhelcho Mandadziev . She played in several movies based on the novels by Bogomil Raynov . A few seasons ago (2006) the actress took the awards for best actress in three consecutive festivals: International Festival of Small Theater Forms in Vratsa, International Festival "New Bulgarian drama" in Shumen and Festival for performances by one actor in Gabrovo. In 2009 she was awarded for Lifetime Achievement in theater. She is the only actress who has played in the Moscow Theater "Contemporary". For four decades she has about a hundred roles presented in Blagoevgrad Theatre, the Military Theatre, in the Theatre "Poetry and Stage", Theater "Sofia", Little City Theatre "Off the channel" and Theater "Sfumato", where she retired. She does not give interviews, does not like being the center of attention. According to her, the media person should have character meets only things that excited or is working.
