Nadia Wit has performed world wide in theaters in New York City, London, Edinburgh and Los Angeles. Her most recent credits include a parody of Les Miserable as "Anne Muffaway," the role of the Egyptian daughter "Rasha" in the drama A Country Within and with the theatre company Gravity Works created by Russell Boast in Hollywood, California. She also performs stand up in the biggest comedy clubs in Los Angeles and is known for her hilarious impression of her Persian mom.At 14 years old, Nadia created the Teen Choreographers Showcase that inspired young people to choreograph ballet, jazz and tap pieces that were performed in professional theater houses in Southern California. During that time she studied at the Music and Arts Conservatory of Santa Barbara where she took classes in music theory, poetry, art history and much more. She worked as an actress in commercials and theater productions and wrote educational one act plays for a company called Teen Theater that toured California to teach young people about drug abuse, STDs and other cutting edge provocative issues. To this day, Nadia has a passion for education and a creating opportunity for young people and volunteers with the Young Story Tellers Foundation.Upon graduation from high school she moved to Los Angeles and began studying acting and directing with Milton Katselas. Simultaneously, she began college studying Visual Anthropology at USC (the study of the visual documentation of humans and their culture.) Nadia used her talents as a director and her education from USC to create a multimedia website that focused on Iran where she photographed and documented the tradition of dance in Persian culture. During her years in college she also traveled to Belize on an archaeological excavation at Dos Barbaras. After college Nadia attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London where she studied and performed Shakespeare, Jacobean tragedy and Restoration comedy. Nadia is on the committee of the T'Oscars through Brits in LA; a yearly festival that pokes fun at the Oscars. She has performed stand up at around Los Angeles including The Comedy Store and The Improv.
